We make a lot of soccer videos and in this soccer video you need to juggle to do the toe pop. Or you can start with it in your hands. There are a lot of tricks of soccer and the toe pop is a fun, easy to learn soccer trick!

Key Points:
1. Push your toes in the ground — your heel should almost come up a bit
2. Soccer Ball needs to hit on your toe, right before the laces start
3. Make sure you do this in short grass, so your foot is exposed

Equipment Needed: Soccer Ball

Soccer Exercise Player Can Do:
Start with ball in your hands. Toss ball with back spin and then do toe pop as it comes down. Once comfortable try the toe pop while juggling. Repeat until tired.

What Player Could Be Doing Wrong:
If the ball isn’t popping up for you it is because your toe is not in the ground. So when the ball hits your toe do not lift your toe up because doing that will cause your toe to be a shock absorber and it will eliminate the bounce. Keep your toes in the ground, let the ball do it’s thing.

If you are having trouble getting the ball to hit your toe when it comes down it’s because you are tossing the ball, sticking your foot out and hoping the ball hits it. As that ball is in the air, figure out quickly where it is going to come down and then move your toe to the ball’s landing spot.

Bonus Tip:
Try practicing the toe pop in tennis shoes on concrete when starting out, it’s a tad easier.

Would have helped if part of this drill could have been done in slow motion.
